Singapore is a wealthy technocratic authoritarian state that has a strong work culture where there is a strong expectation that work is virtuous and working overtime is encouraged. 

In Singapore, many forms of welfare are dependent on one's work or looking for work. Such policies include but are not limited to:

Workfare Income Supplement, which supplements low-income workers' wages with government welfare.

 SkillsFuture Jobseeker Support scheme, which grants 6 months of temporary financial support to unemployed individuals to enable them to find a job.

Regional regulatory and economic bodies like the African Union and Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) SOUTH AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY (SADC) Aim to foster African unity, economic integration, investment and regional security. Their influence however is restricted to the subscribing African countries only. Global regulatory and economic bodies like the World Trade Organisation (WTO), World bank, International Criminal Court uses global frameworks to promote international trade, financial aid and legal norms. Their influence is over all their subscribing members.

A- Sonnet 18 by William Shakespeare:

Above is an example of Type A poems. Type A poems are fixed-verse or fixed-form poetry like sonnets, limericks and haiku etc,  they have a definite composition requirement like line counts, specific rhyming meters and word counts.

B - Wild Geese by Mary Oliver:

B type poems are free verse poetry, they have none of type A's requirements and often follow no discernable patterns, are often written in plain writing and are more focused on self expression

You are a socially awkward university student who wants to join a sports or games club. you can either join a cooperative club or a competitive one. 

For the purpose of this debate, primarily competitive activities tend to have a winner by the end of each session and the goal is to compete against the other players- monopoly, chess, table tennis etc . 

Primarily cooperative activities are often team-based and play occurs over multiple sessions with the roughly the same group of people. You succeed against a goal set by the game itself or by achieving a mutually consented goal instead of beating other players. Examples include- Table-top board games like Dungeons and Dragons, synchronised swimming, gymastics, dance

For the purposes of this debate, a social group can exist under an umbrella of a greater social issue such as Feminism, Minority Rights, Labour unions etc. These groups can be both global and local.
